For Three Star Books, Parker Ito has interpreted three etchings from Albrecht Dürer’s “Meistertische series” into self-portraits, thus rendering the original titles of “Knight Death and the Devil”, “Melencolia 1” and ”Saint Jérome in his Study” into: “Me, Death, and the Devil”, “Melencolia 2” and “Me in my Study”.
Note that each print glows in the dark due to the phosphorescent ink used on the background of the image.
